About SUITable Lens…
For years, my life has been defined by the stage. As an opera singer, I live for that electric connection with an audience: the emotions, the drama, the applause. But looking back, I often find myself wishing I could hit "pause." There were so many fleeting moments under the lights; split-second expressions, quiet backstage interactions, the way the dust motes danced in the spotlight, that were never captured. They exist only in memory now.
That feeling of letting a moment slip away is exactly why I picked up a camera.
SUITable Lens is my way of making sure the story doesn't end when the curtain falls. It’s an evolution of my SUITable +Size Men’s Fashion and lifestyle blog, but it goes so much deeper than just fashion or style. It’s about the hunger to freeze time. Whether I’m walking down a New York City street, framing the sharp angles of a skyscraper, or watching the light change over a landscape, I am constantly looking for the narrative that others might walk right past.
This isn’t just about taking pictures; it’s about documenting life. From the raw energy of street photography to the intimacy of a portrait, my goal is to catch those blink-and-you'll-miss-it moments that make us human. I want to freeze these moments not just to keep them, but to share them; to tell stories that encourage, empower, and unite us.
I spent a long time worrying about how I was seen. Now, I’m focused on how I see. Welcome to my view of the world.
Welcome to SUITable Lens.
“At its heart, SUITable Lens is about more than just aesthetics; it is about narrative. I believe that life is a series of "suitable" moments waiting to be documented. Whether through the lines of a building, the texture of a landscape, or the expression of a stranger, I seek to tell everyday stories through a lens of Art, curiosity, and truth.” - JH”
